I was so fed up with all my previous book lights ruining my poor books. I don't think I owned a book that hadn't been ripped, creased, or mangled in some way from sliding my "cheaper" book lights on and off the pages. I went in search for a better light on Amazon and found the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2. I love this light for so many reasons. It has a large strong clip that stays secure on your book without any damage. The neck is very flexible and will bend to whatever position you want, and actually stay there. The batteries seem to last, I have been using this light almost every night for a month and haven't noticed any dimming. I love that it comes in so many colors. Now onto the reasons I only gave it 4 stars. If Amazon allowed half stars I would have given 4.5 but they don't so I didn't. The two light feature is a great idea but I find that there really isn't much difference in brightness if you use just one or both lights. I find the light almost too bright (I know "what do you expect from something called the Mighty Bright") still, I wish that the one light feature was a bit dimmer. Thankfully my husband is a heavy sleeper and doesn't mind. The clip is a bit bulky for regular books (if you are buying to use with the kindle you may not mind this) and I find it a bit annoying holding the pages open with this wedged between them. The price is also a bit high, in my opinion 25 dollars for a book light is a little much. Overall this is a great light, the best I've owned. This is the first e reader I use and I am getting to like it more and more. I took it on vacation and never felt so free of the anxiety of not finding anything good to read. I used to lug around 4-5 paperbacks in my suitcase, now I just have to load up this little beauty. 1) Still trying to find an effective way of getting new titles legally. I live in Egypt - so had it shipped out internationally. You can not use the Sony e-bookstore site from Egypt, or Amazon or Barnes and Noble. By default I have to rely on public domain titles - mostly from [...]. Still waiting for them to figure out all the copyright issues so I can buy ebooks on line. So if you live outside US, Canada or Europe - really think about how you are going to use this
2) I relied on previous reviews on Amazon to select this product- and am so glad I followed the advise to use Calibre ([...]). The Sony software does not compare.
3)Scrolling back and forth between pages is not as easy as it should be. Keys are a little stiff, and its easy to skip forward or back by mistake. I am over 40 so like that there are 3 font sizes, but wouldn't mind having the largest font even larger.

This cover is just what I needed for my kindle. I really wanted something that protected it while I was reading, but didn't add any weight.

Cons:

- My case does not sit over the Kindle perfectly. No matter what I do to try and adjust it, it's crooked over the screen. You can see the white of the Kindle on the left side, while it nearly overlaps with the screen on the right side. Due to how many different ways I have tried to correct this, I can only chalk it up to a manufacturing defect. This does not affect viewing of the screen at all, but it will annoy perfectionists ;)
- The area designated for the 5 way selector is not that helpful. Again, I couldn't get mine to line up properly. It takes some getting used to, but I just feel for the selector with my fingernail (the neon markings of the case does give me some idea of where to find it), and maneuver it that way...this also seems to be a manufacturing issue
